Job Summary

 

Director Creative Operations + Content Production

 

The director of creative operations + content production will drive the day-to-day project management and oversee all elements of creative media and content pre- and

 

post-production for new product launches campaigns, reanimation materials and digital content distributed across all channels.

 

They will drive the progress of assets from the intake to the release, providing an end-to-end project accounts management across 360 deliverables and the creative functions.

 

The ideal candidate will instill and enforce process, ensuring that the best practices are followed, and the project deliverables are on time, on budget, and within scope.

 

They will ensure the brand’s original vision is accurately realized – including all internal and external resources management to produce and oversee the project through the final stages of go-to-market delivery. They also work in every aspect of the production process to fulfill project vision aligned to brand guidelines and within budget.

 

You have deep experience in the worlds of digital photography, video, online media and the technical specifications required for each of these visual methodologies. This role is responsible for hands on production of all shoots by facilitating timely communication between multiple departments and external vendors from pre-production to final production via variable digital deliverables. Management of all administrative tasks related to video and digital content production assets and archival content management. The ideal skillset for this role is well versed in both creative and contracts negotiation, billing and payments management, portfolio reviews and casting, all while maintaining brand standards.

 

This person will promote the continuous improvement of the creative process, communications, and cross-departmental processes and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage intake of project requests, identify resources needed, and creates an action plan with timelines while respecting and respecting the budgets.
  • Monitor timelines to ensure efficient, on-time delivery of work while being able to problem solve and triage issues or concerns as they arise that may delay the project.
  • Manage and maintain branding and digital projects from concept through delivery .
  • Partner with creative lead to drive continuous process efficiency.
  • Provide continuous feedback within creative team and with cross functional partners in order to improve our process by identifying workflows that can be optimized.
  • Proactively developing solutions by offering tools for project requesters. Help teach and streamline request content.
  • Budget management
  • Collaborate with creative, art directors & retouching team to ensure project expectations are met and drive on time delivery.
  • Own agenda for all operational meetings, takes official notes in the meetings and distributes pre and post documents.
  • Implement 360 mindset and ways of working.
  • Streamline communication to ensure clarity and consistency across all departments.
  • Foster positive and effective collaboration between cross-functional teams .

 

Producer Specific Responsibilities

 

  • Manage simultaneous art, photo and video productions through all phases of each project including obtaining permits/insurance, responsible for getting proper equipment, working with talent, and managing video crew.
  • Create and oversee estimates for content projects (online, broadcast and photoshoots) in various stages of production and post-production. Responsible for maintaining budget margin and billing at scheduled time.
  • Solicit bids from 3rd party vendor and freelance crew for estimates
  • on-site producer at shoots in studio and on location

 

JOB REQIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of project management or related experience – agency experience a plus
  • Producer experience a must
  • Beauty experience a plus
  • Budget management abilities
  • Tactical, organized, flexible and positive team player who can work independently and cooperatively in a diverse, perpetually changing environment.
  • Demonstrated organized self-starter who can manage multiple detailed tasks deftly and see the big picture simultaneously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and successful at diplomacy
