Digital Marketing Specialist (Social Media & Content)
This role is a contract role. We are looking for someone willing to work on a project basis. We currently have 2 clients we need assistance with. Project details are below:
- Trademark Attorney
- 30 social posts per month (captions & graphics)
- Weekly newsletter
- Commercial Healthcare Real Estate Broker - 20 posts per month
- 20 social posts per month (captions & stock photos) *note: these are not property listing type posts, these are informational posts about healthcare real estate & services the client offers)
- Monthly newsletter
If we can find 1 person for all tasks, great! If you only specialize in one area or the other (social media or content writing for blogs/newsletters), happy to still chat!
Pay is based on experience and per project, so you can expect to make the same amount every month.
For all tasks listed above, the pay is $800/month. On average, this currently takes us about 20-25 hours a month to accomplish. If it takes you 20 hours, the hourly rate is $40. If it takes you 25 hours, the rate is $32/hour.
All social media tasks are due by the 10th of each month. The monthly newsletter is due by the 10th. The weekly newsletter can be submitted two every two weeks.

Role (Overview Of The Position):
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating exciting and engaging content in alignment with our client's social media marketing strategies. They are responsible for creating captions and graphics (in Canva) along with communicating with the clients to work out edits and approvals.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video etc) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
Skills
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Fluency in English
- BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
Results (Expected Accomplishments):
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries. This means responding within 24 hours from your Summit email.
- Provide detailed and insightful feedback on results from monthly marketing initiatives for client. Be able to focus on the positive aspects of their results and frame all efforts in a positive light. Should recognize benchmarks and look for opportunities to increase our clients perceived value for the service we provide.
- Track and report on client results during weekly meetings - highlighting which clients need attention and which ones are doing amazingly well (so we can reach out and leverage these results for retention and referral opportunities).
- 100% accuracy on grammar and spelling for all written copy
- Learn, understand and implement our agency social media launch process to ensure proper execution of job responsibilities, management of client accounts, and ongoing optimization.
- Confidently provide client support with very little oversight from management.
- Be available when necessary for agency client campaign support.
- All tasks are completed on time, correctly, and with little support.
- Be proactive in communication with team members and clients. Communications to be clear and effective, along with professional and concise.
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
