Job Description:

Position: Digital Marketing Analyst

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $100–$150 per hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week, flexible and asynchronous

Duration: Flexible


Role Responsibilities:

  1. Extract campaign data from advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
  2. Calculate KPIs including CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rates across channels
  3. Compare performance across time periods and against budget targets
  4. Create data visualizations and insights summaries in Google Sheets, PowerPoint, or Data Studio
  5. Audit tracking setups and conversion reporting accuracy using GA4 and Tag Assistant
  6. Build and manage UTM tracking templates for campaigns
  7. Reconcile advertising costs against invoiced amounts, including currency conversions
  8. Segment customer data from CRMs and create targeting recommendations
  9. Develop budget optimization models and retention/cohort analyses using historical data
  10. Design dashboards with automated data refresh and cross-channel KPI visualizations


Ideal Qualifications:

  1. Strong experience in performance marketing analytics, media reporting, or marketing operations
  2. Proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google Sheets
  3. Strong grasp of digital KPIs (CPA, ROAS, CTR, etc.) and budget/spend tracking
  4. Experience with Excel-based modeling, cohort analysis, funnel breakdowns, and segmentation strategies
  5. Familiarity with UTM tracking, tag auditing tools, and attribution model comparisons
  6. Excellent attention to detail in calculations, formatting, and visualizations
  7. Ability to work independently and deliver on weekly or monthly reporting deadlines
