Job Description:

Hennessey Digital, a leading search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing agency in North America, is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Creative Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role is a consummate team player who is an excellent visual storyteller, is self-driven, has a problem-solving mindset, and has at least five (5) years of creative and digital marketing agency experience.

We are a fully remote and highly collaborative team of digital marketing thought leaders located all over the country. We provide white-glove service to our clients, and we’re looking for a thoughtful team member who can ensure that all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on strategy.

We’re a rapidly growing company, it’s important that you have an entrepreneurial attitude, an embracing mindset toward change, and can manage/prioritize multiple concurrent projects.

The desired candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills—as well as be familiar with project management in a creative agency atmosphere.

This is a hands-on manager role that includes both web design and managing the team and workloads.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Continually drive innovation, and unique designs and concepts both in their own design and the design work of the team
  • Establish the creative strategy of the organization and ensure the strategy is implemented across all client marketing collateral
  • Understand user‐centered research, content strategy, copywriting, design, front‐end development, brand, and multi‐channel marketing strategy
  • Develop creative campaigns to reinforce the client’s overall branding and desired image
  • Perform design duties as needed to augment the creative team’s bandwidth
  • Manage the creative process from concept to completion
  • Meet with clients or management to gather information, explain campaign strategies and solutions
  • Manage the creative staff. Responsible for hiring, performance appraisals, etc.
  • Work closely with other teams, including engineering, SEO, and Client Services
  • Manage the activities of the creative team. Assign, review, and approve staff projects
  • Develop and maintain teamwork and cooperative culture within the creative team
  • Assign and review work workflows, troubleshoot, and provide feedback to creative teams
  • Remain actively involved in hiring and training creative staff
  • Manage and cultivate the career development of staff members
  • Ensure deadlines are met by managing the project from conceptualization through implementation
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience

  • 2+ years people management experience required
  • 5+ years of design experience in an agency or creative department required
  • 2+ years experience with UX/UI design and web design strongly preferred
  • Strong skills in Figma
  • Experience creating marketing/advertising campaigns from developing vision and message platform to overseeing production on time and budget
  • Understanding and past experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understand offline and print
  • Proven experience with concept development
  • Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent
  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
