Aetna’s Creative Director, Medicaid Proposals leads a team of creative direct reports, overseeing the end-to-end storytelling and design efforts for complex, large-scale Medicaid proposals from proposal release to submission and beyond. The Creative Director, Medicaid Proposals partners with multiple stakeholders (e.g., health plan leaders, Marketing, Business Development, Proposal Team and executive leaders) to lead storyboarding sessions and the overarching approach to develop our distinctive and compelling strategy and story for each proposal. The Creative Director, Medicaid Proposals is responsible for analyzing RFP submission requirements, understanding the bid end-to-end, following established processes and using established tools, introducing new methods and technology as appropriate, influencing the proposal-specific look and feel in collaboration with key stakeholders including senior leadership, and ensuring a high-quality, winning product that resonates with each state and reflects its members. Following proposal submission, the Creative Director, Medicaid Proposals will ensure proposal graphics are archived for ease of search and reuse and lead with a competitive, differentiating approach overall and on each opportunity.
The right candidate for this role will:
– Experienced leading proposal design teams with a track record of success, specifically winning new and sustaining existing business
– Have command of fundamental principles of graphic design and page layout for both print and electronic mediums, adheres to brand requirements with consistent application to the overall approach and individual work product

Required Qualifications
– 7+ years of experience managing complex, lengthy proposals (Medicaid and/or healthcare experience strongly preferred)
– Demonstrated visual storytelling successes, specifically in winning new and/or sustaining existing business
– Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
– Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
– Understanding of accessibility requirements (e.g., Section 508) to ensure electronic documents are accessible to all individuals
– Maintain process documentation specific to design role
– Proven group presentation and facilitation skills
– Strong planning and coordination skills
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Strong collaborator with SMEs, all contributors and among the Proposal Team with One Team mindset and approach- Able to effectively support the complex and varied needs of multiple senior leaders
– Able to flex to rapidly changing priorities by identifying and executing on creative solutions
– Able to travel within the United States up to 25%

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 – $227,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
