Development activities include hardware design, systems engineering, systems analysis, add software development. Founded in 1986 by Dr. Alison Brown, NAVSYS is dedicated to promoting the use of cutting-edge PNT solutions in a wide variety of commercial and military applications.

BOOST is helping to recruit a visionary and results-driven fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to support the team on developing a strategic plan for NAVSYS to execute a commercialization strategy, develop a go-to-market plan to field a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), with expansion plans for global operations and to create a clearly articulated pitch deck for the NAVSYS unique value proposition for investor engagements. While this is a part-time position, preference is for the CMO to transition to a permanent position in the operation of the PNTaaS new venture.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and experience:
• Proven experience in developing a commercialization strategy for a start-up offering dual-use products for commercial and defense applications
• Prior strategic planning experience in developing a g-to-market strategy and competitive product pricing models to drive revenue growth and support global operations
• Experience with the commercial SATCOM industry and with Software as a Service (SaaS) products
Citizenship, Education, and Security Clearance

Individuals with an active security clearance are preferred. US Citizenship is required. Candidates without active security clearance will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

This is a hybrid position, working on-site out of either NAVSYS' beautiful Colorado Springs or Salida, Colorado locations with remote work offered.

Salary of $200,000-$235,000, depending upon related experience and expertise. Bonuses and stock options are also part of total compensation for this role.
