Job Summary:
Responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to drive business growth, increase market share, and enhance our brand awareness in the flooring industry. This role requires a strong understanding of sales and marketing concepts, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a track record of success in business development, along with advanced electronic and digital content creation experience.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness, drive lead generation, and enhance customer engagement.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, referrals, online marketing, and industry events.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth. Use insights to inform marketing and business development strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create sales materials and presentations highlighting our flooring capabilities and expertise.
- Active participation in securing contracts and closing business.
- Build relationships with key industry stakeholders, including general contractors, architects, designers, and property managers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Create marketing and promotional content through electronic and digital media to manage the company’s digital presence, including website content, social media, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns.
- Participate in industry events and trade shows to showcase our products and services.
- Stay informed about new flooring technologies, products, and installation techniques to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Track and report on sales performance and market trends.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in business development or marketing in construction.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market research data.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities within established deadlines.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong computer graphic skills and publishing.
- Proficient knowledge of social media platforms such as but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
