Responsible for achieving the business objectives of the liabilities sales team for the area/region.
Ensure overall assigned portfolio targets are met. Ensure targeted percentage of portfolio mix i.e. between CASA and Term Deposit is achieved.
Conduct Identify target customers locally within the region/ area in order to establish basis for potential business.
Ensure and maintain a culture of zero tolerance on portfolio at risk and noncompliance of Bank policies.
Responsible to drive and manage execution of sales strategy and customer acquisition process in order to meet, exceed portfolio growth and cross sell targets.
Responsible for leading large liabilities sales channel comprising of Relationship Managers, Relationship Executives, and Business Development Officers and ensuring recruitment, training, retention, and mentoring of sales teams.
Establish, build and manage business relationships with the target segment. Target to increase the business banking proposition market share and contribution to overall Bank Deposits contribution.
Ensure liability mobilization over a large number of accounts to minimize concentration risk and volatility in the portfolio.
Provide recommendations for process improvement through analysis of problems on products & processes to improve efficiency.
Ensure complete AML/CFT/KYC procedures are followed at the time of customer interactions and customer information to be updated regularly and ensure to provide highest level of customer service.
Report/escalate any serious risks or breach of rules, ensure adherence of all bank’s prescribed processes, standard operating procedures and central bank requirements.
Ensure objectives are met within Bank policies, procedures, strategies and maintain coordination with internal units of the bank.
Participate in one-on-one meetings with potential customers to explain services to guide their choices.
Ensure enrolling in training programs (self & team) for product and service to maintain high level of awareness on various initiatives in the bank.
Overall responsibility for day-to-day management and any other task assigned by Regional Head – Liabilities.
Preferably Bachelor’s in Commerce, Arts or Business Administration
