Job Description:

As an Amazon Brand Manager, you will be responsible for the success of a group of our clients’ brands. You will also help to develop, refine, and document the processes for our best-in-class Amazon Brand Management service. Joining this team will unlock your ability to:

Responsibilities:

  • Chart the strategy and lead the execution of the growth of a set of brands that subscribe with the company to take over their brand management.
  • Work up to managing 10 to 15 Amazon brands.
  • Lead and manage a team with excellence to operate brands and achieve growth targets.
  • Oversee all aspects of Amazon brand management including product launch, PPC, Inventory management, new product research, customer service, and seller central communication.
  • Lead team scrums, weekly meetings, and daily huddles with your teammates.
  • Inspire, motivate, and set the example of greatness for your team.
  • Liaise directly with brand owners, align with their goals, and turn those goals into strategies that you lead your team to execute on.
  • Create and develop SOP’s, protocols, templates, guides, and trainings on each of the most critical components of the full brand management service.
  • Collaborate with other teams to help contribute to their success, and gain resources, insights, and guidance you need to hit your team’s goals.
  • Uphold the values of Sophie Society (i.e. integrity, honesty, greatness, and a commitment to Brand success) and be receptive to feedback on your performance.

Qualification Criteria:

  • Be able to accurately diagnose the challenges and issues lying between a brand’s current state and it’s desired future state.
  • Accurately analyze Amazon listings and thumbnails and be able to determine what changes would result in a material improvement in conversion rate (CVR)
  • Accurately analyze Amazon thumbnails and be able to determine what changes would result in a material improvement in click through rate (CTR)
  • Have at least 2+ years of experience in Amazon brand management and a proven track record of success
  • Be a fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Have a deep understanding of critical Amazon brand management skills such as: keyword research, seller central navigation, PPC strategy, product research, niche analysis, review management etc.
  • Have mastery of Amazon analysis tools (ex. Helium 10, Data dive, or similar)
  • Be detail oriented and excellent at managing your time and the time of team members.
  • Be familiar with communication and project management software and tools such as G-Suite, Slack, and Asana.
  • Be competitive, proactive, have a strong work ethic, and be hungry for success.
  • Be confident and able to conduct calls with clients and recommend services to them based on their individual needs or goals.
  • Be a team player who is willing to work closely with the heads of other teams to help one another succeed.
  • BONUS: Experience running the Brand Management division of an agency.
