Position Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative & Social Media Assistant to help us streamline operations and engage our community. This position is perfect for someone with a blend of organizational skills and creative flair. If you’re someone who enjoys crafting visually appealing content, managing social media channels, and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Event Coordinator, CEO, and COO by completing assigned tasks within deadlines
  2. Provide periodic customer support via email and other communications
  3. Plan, create, and schedule posts for upcoming events and promotions on social media platforms
  4. Design visually engaging graphics, flyers, and social media posts using Canva
  5. Handle daily administrative duties such as data entry, word processing, and spreadsheet management
  6. Monitor social media engagement and contribute ideas to boost growth and interaction
  7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery

Qualifications:

  1. Proven ability to create social media content and design graphics with Canva Pro
  2. Active Facebook account (required)
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  4. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  5. Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  6. Familiar with social media marketing best practices
  7. Comfortable sending professional emails and communications
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
  9. Prior experience in customer service, social media management, or administrative roles is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
