We are hiring an Account Executive for Retail and Supply Chain SaaS Startup to join our rapidly growing sales team to help with deal sizes ranging from $50k-$2M. The ideal candidate will have talent in outbound SaaS sales, able to achieve balance between independence and a results-driven approach, and is motivated and reliable. You’ll be directly responsible for the expansion of our customer base, working closely with new prospects to educate them on our product offerings and help them grow their business through the addition of our software solutions. The goal is to find opportunities and turn them into long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
- Present products to prospective clients
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
- Ability to grow rapport and relationships with potential clients
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an outbound Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role in SaaS
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience selling to commercial and/or enterprise sized customers
- Prior experience selling complex enterprise SaaS software solutions to large organizations (Selling to Retail and Retail Suppliers is a plus)
- Familiarity with the Sandler Selling System or similar
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
- Outstanding knowledge of CRM software (eg. HubSpot) is a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Enthusiastic, passionate and great at building relationships
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing or equivalent experience
