Software Engineer – Low-Latency Trading Systems

A leading quantitative trading firm is looking for a talented Software Engineer to help design and build the infrastructure that powers its real-time, low-latency trading systems. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where engineering excellence directly drives trading performance.
This is a high-impact opportunity to work closely with traders and quantitative researchers, contributing across the full stack, from research and prototyping to production deployment and performance tuning.
What You'll Do
- Build and optimize low-latency trading systems used across global markets
- Translate research and trading ideas into robust, production-ready code
- Develop tools for backtesting, monitoring, and performance analysis
- Own projects end-to-end: architecture, implementation, deployment, and support
- Contribute to system reliability, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure automation
Ideal Background
- Strong experience in C++ and Python (Rust or similar is a plus)
- Familiarity with low-latency systems, real-time data, or HFT environments
- Deep understanding of systems programming, networking, and performance tuning
- Experience working with backtesting frameworks or historical market data
- Knowledge of market microstructure or financial protocols is a bonus
- Skilled in software design, debugging, and writing clean, maintainable code
- Self-driven, curious, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative team
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in trading, finance, or high-performance environments
