Position Summary
We are looking for a kind, creative, and organized part-time social media specialist to create and manage content. They will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing campaigns, monitoring conversations, and responding to our clients on social media. They will collaborate with our third-party web and design teams to maintain the Screamin Peach voice and brand. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of social media trends and the ability to think strategically about how to use them to reach our clients in fresh, engaging ways.
Essential Duties & Major Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and compelling content for various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) Excellent grammar and tonal recognition are imperative.
- Social Media Account Management: Manage the company's social media presence by scheduling posts, monitoring comments and messages, and engaging with the online community.
- Engagement: Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Foster a sense of community around the company and our clients.
- Analytics: Tracking and analyzing the performance of social media content using tools like social media analytics platforms. Monitoring key metrics like reach, engagement, and conversion to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Generating regular reports to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing social media strategies.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with our web and design teams to ensure consistency and add fresh perspective.
- Brand Advocacy: Being a brand ambassador and upholding the brand's values and image through all social media interactions. Identifying opportunities for brand partnerships, collaborations, and influencer marketing to expand our reach.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Verified enrollment in or completion of an accredited marketing program
Experience
- Social media internship experience or training through an accredited program is required
Specialized Skills
- Strong written communication skills with particular attention to proper spelling and grammar
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
