What We Are Looking For

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You’ll work closely with the CEO/Founder, Production & Operations Coordinator and Producers to create a structured social calendar and process to best support our upcoming launches.

The ideal candidate has an interest in producing engaging, compelling written and visual content for marketing purposes. They’re excited by innovative audio formats, the creative social rollout that comes with it, and excel in executing a targeted campaign launch. This position requires a creative self-starter with a passion for excellence and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities & Duties

Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy

Define most important social media KPIs

Work on copywriting and designing to ensure content is informative and appealing

Collaborate with our client Marketing teams

Manage and oversee social media content

Measure the success of every social media campaign/launch

Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies

Leverage social media marketing tools

Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization

Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

Qualifications & Skills

3 years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role

Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions

Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices

Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

Experience doing audience persona research

Good understanding of social media KPIs

Familiarity with web design and publishing

Excellent multitasking and organizational skills

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Team player

Solution oriented

Good time-management skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Experience using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Audition, and Canva

Experience with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Forms), and Google Calendar

Experience working with video conferencing (Zoom and Google Meet)

Ability to embrace and learn internal project management tools and systems (Airtable)

Reports To: CEO/Founder

Works With: Production & Operations Coordinator, Associate Producers/Producers and others.

Job Type: Starting ASAP; Temporary, Contract (6 months)

Pay Range: $22/hr. with a maximum of 10 hours per week
