Planet Interactive is seeking a Social Media Analyst will be analyze metrics to help us strategically build and execute plans, across individualized channels, to make them come to life on 6 of the top social media platforms.

Social Media Analyst Responsibilities

1. Writing posts crafted to take advantage of the unique properties of each channel.
2. Consulting on video direction.
3. Working with our Visual Design team to create eye-catching graphics for your posts.
4. Working with a third party to maintain a publishing calendar.
5. Analyzing metrics to inform future content decisions.
6. Help manage our growing community of followers.

Social Media Analyst Qualifications

1. A Bachelor’s Degree and five years of experience are required for this role or eight years of social media communications in lieu of having a degree.
2. Be a skilled writer with a portfolio to prove it.
3. Know how to use Canva or a similar tool while also understanding how to work with professional graphic designers.
4. Be deeply familiar with Meta Business Manager.
5. Have experience using Meltwater or similar social media publishing software.
6. Understand analytics and use them to adapt to evolving social media trends.
7. Demonstrated ability to execute against brand guidelines and write in brand voice to give a consistent experience across platforms.
