About the Role


As an SEO Strategist, you’ll own the SEO strategy for Disruptive Advertising’s B2C Local team. You’ll conduct website audits and develop, implement, and optimize on-page, off-page, technical, and content-driven SEO strategies. Data will guide your decisions, and you’ll act confidently where insights support action.

You’ll provide clear, direct feedback to Account Managers and clients through reporting that demonstrates the value and precision of your work. This role requires moving faster than average, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and becoming the go-to SEO expert for your clients’ performance.

What You’ll Do


  1. Own and execute SEO strategy for a portfolio of approximately 15 clients
  2. Partner with Account Managers to align on recommendations, support client communication, and deliver a cohesive strategic vision
  3. Perform comprehensive SEO audits, including:
  4. On-page SEO (metadata, internal linking, keyword targeting, etc.)
  5. Technical SEO (XML sitemaps, robots.txt, crawlability, indexation)
  6. Off-page SEO (backlink health, outreach, earned links)
  7. Content optimization (user sentiment, engagement, keyword gap analysis, CRO insights)
  8. Identify and track KPIs to measure organic success
  9. Build and prioritize monthly and quarterly SEO roadmaps using performance data
  10. Fully manage SEO project plans and own overall strategic direction
  11. Create monthly and quarterly performance reports highlighting wins and opportunities
  12. Execute day-to-day SEO tasks such as competitor research, keyword research, metadata creation, internal linking, and backlink acquisition
  13. Stay current on algorithm updates, SERP changes, and industry trends that impact client performance


What You Need to Succeed


  1. 2+ years of SEO experience managing multiple clients in an agency environment (approximately 15 clients)
  2. Experience managing a client book totaling $35,000 or more
  3. Direct client communication experience
  4. Ability to clearly explain complex SEO concepts and strategies
  5. Strong technical SEO knowledge
  6. Understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture
  7. Excellent written communication skills
  8. Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
  9. Expertise in Google Analytics/GA4, Google Search Console, and tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Botify
  10. Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, ServiceTitan, or GoHighLevel
  11. Basic understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
