What We're Looking For

Desired Education

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Journalism, Communications, Information Systems or Statistics (GPA above a 3.4)

General Knowledge

Solid understanding of the Internet

Solid understanding of basic copywriting

Solid web copywriting skills

Experience

Should have customer service experience in any industry

Part-time/summer job/internship experience is a must

Basic HTML experience (a plus)

Advertising agency experience (a plus)

Any SEO experience (a plus)

Experience with Google Analytics (a plus)

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

Optimizing client website for search engines (on-page SEO)

Manage all aspects of SEO and PPC campaigns for clients

Keyword research for both SEO and PPC campaigns

Analyze competitors’ websites and online marketing initiatives

Create and manage paid search ad campaigns

Manage significant paid search budgets on top tier search engines (Google, Bing, & Facebook)

Prepare monthly SEO campaign reports

Optimize web content for keywords related to customer products and services

Consult with clients about their business goals and propose solutions and strategies that meet their needs

Assist in email marketing, website analysis and online advertising programs

Correct technical issues on the backend of website

Perform A/B, website usability, and website conversion rate testing

Responsible for driving client success on the web

Percentage Breakdown

5% analyzing clients’ competitors

5% writing ad copy, emails, etc

10% creating revenue, ROI and traffic reports for client campaigns

10% working in the backend of websites/fixing technical issues

10% updating website content

15% managing client SEO campaigns

15% client SEO strategy and analytics

15% building/developing SEO strategy

15% client interaction - phone calls, emails, in-person meetings, etc.

Note: The SEO Specialist is a client-facing position

Training

Our “Bootcamp” web marketing training program will be provided for new WebFX “family members” to learn, grow and develop in and out of the office with the hard skills necessary to be successful in their position.

On-site, state-of-the-art training amenities to facilitate departmental trainings, industry-related updates, and monthly Lunch-and-Learns.
