Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication, resolving issues, and ensuring deliverables meet expectations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and long-term retention
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve rankings and increase organic traffic
- Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headers, and image alt attributes
- Review all deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with client goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to track project progress and proactively address risks or opportunities
- Represent client needs internally as the “voice of the client” across all departments
- Analyze audit reports, assign tasks, and oversee execution by technical teams
- Conduct keyword research and implement strategies across on-page and off-page SEO
- Identify and resolve content cannibalization issues to streamline SEO performance
Requirements & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of SEO experience
- Minimum 3 years in a client-facing account management role
- At least 2 years of agency experience
- Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing
- Technical SEO expertise including hreflang, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, schema markup, and linking strategies
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Ability to clearly communicate strategies and performance to clients
- Strong project management and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience with Google Analytics and similar tools
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable SEO strategies
- Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with executives and senior stakeholders
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually
