ANALYST (PAID SEARCH)
Summary of Position:
The Analyst, Paid Search is responsible for monitoring and maintaining media campaign development and activation on search channels. The ideal candidate requires proficiency in math, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, as well as creativity and an overall interest in and understanding of how consumers leverage search media in the decision path.
Responsibilities:
Gathering research and data necessary to build a new campaign strategy and recommendation.
Building and trafficking approved plan within platform (Google Ads and/or Microsoft Ads).
Monitoring and maintaining campaign budgets, pacing, and bid adjustments.
Managing campaign performance and evaluating up against the competitive landscape
Implementing regular optimization strategies against client business objectives.
Developing new optimization recommendations and/or testing plans.
Utilize bid management tools as well as Google, Bing, and Search Ads 360 paid search platforms to build campaigns, implement optimizations, pull reporting, and QA campaigns
Pull and analyze data to inform campaign reporting and help build insights
Granular maintenance of monthly billing cycle
Resolve billing discrepancies in partnership with client strategy and billing reconciliation team
Learn all relevant tools for reporting, analytics, and competitive analysis as well as bid management platforms, Benchtools, Google Trends, etc.
Generate paperwork necessary for purchase authorization and ensure vendor counter signature is received
Stay informed on search industry trends and new tools and ad formats
Successful completion of training programs and requisite certifications required
Qualifications:
Some professional or internship experience in SEM/paid media preferred
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads (including Search, Display, and YouTube campaigns), Microsoft Ads
Exposure to Programmatic, Amazon, Apple Search, UAC and paid social channels is a plus
Top-notch project management skills and presentation skills is a must
Knowledge of the SEM industry and the paid search advertising model
Experience with keyword research tools and web analytics tools (Google Analytics), as well as how to use these tools in paid search campaigns
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite with intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel/Sheets

General knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), social advertising, and web usability
Extremely well organized, able to balance client timelines and business needs, possibly across multiple clients

Salary range 65,000-75,000
