Responsibilities

Job Summary

Manages and measures a collaborative annual marketing planning and implementation function for Marketing across CommonSpirit Health.  This role will be accountable for the implementation and coordination of marketing plans and new programs for healthcare products, services, or service lines, and also expansion of existing brands and development of new products and/or services. Manages day-to-day Marketing operations, and program/policy implementation, and supports value capture initiatives. Manages across the system.

 

 

System Manager Consumer Solutions - Search Engine Optimization 

  • Formulation and communication with business leaders regarding the overall search marketing strategy and the development of associated SEO strategies to drive success throughout digital properties and experiences.
  • Works with internal content and creative teams to implement SEO strategies and best practices for content development, taxonomies, information architecture, component/asset nomenclature, design, migration, and strategies
  • Works with the product, digital, marketing, brand, analysts, and other teams to develop SEO strategies including, but not limited to, local and mobile search strategies, paid media/SEO integration, digital asset optimization, social media, and amplification best practices. 
  • Works closely with technical/development teams to implement technical and information architecture SEO best practices for CMS optimization
  • Manages SEO activities and performance such as tracking platform assessment, SEO setup, developing and maintaining project plans, goal setting, and reporting; in addition to identifying trends, areas of concern, and potential opportunities 
  • Stays on top of the latest search industry trends, from detailed tactics to overarching concepts, communicating the application, potential impact, and opportunity; including deep dives into Search linguistics to understand consumer behavior. 
  • Utilizes industry performance tracking and analysis tools such as SEMRush, Moz, BrightEdge, Conductor, Yext, Botify, various crawlers, XML sitemap generators, and others to monitor SEO performance for CommonSpirit Health and all competitors
  • Utilizes analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent where necessary

 

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic management of the Marketing planning process
  1. Serves as a Marketing resource in support of an integrated planning model and assures operational and functional integration
  2. Maintains feedback loop  to support refining  and improvement plans and associated outcomes 
  • Supports current and future-state marketing plans
    1. Support system growth efforts, marketing plans, and programs for each service line and manage promotional support
    2. Serves as a system resource for marketing plans for healthcare products, services, or service lines; collaborates on brand positioning, and supports digital marketing, direct-response marketing, and other disciplines. Implements research as needed.
    3. Uses effective project management strategies and tactics and the ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives
    4. Maintains feedback loop to refine support and improve strategy execution
  • Implements system service line campaigns Implements enterprise creative and content development for system/division use
  1. Ensures adherence to brand standards/policies, regulations, and protocols
  2. Provides short-term creative and marketing by using market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
  3. Manages present and future creative, content, and marketing deliverables by determining and evaluating current and future industry/service/service line trends
  • Maintains creative/content database.
  1. Manages strategic partnerships
  2. Implements annual plans with agency partners to optimize budgets; achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  3. Coordinates call center support as needed
  • Produces Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Return on Investment (ROI) reports
    1. Reports on the impact Marketing programs are having on growth measures
    2. Develops tracks, adjusts, and reports KPI measures
    3. Measures, monitors, and reports Return On Marketing Investments (ROMI)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.  A combination of education and/or additional job-related experience in marketing technology/digital marketing may be considered instead of the degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing or digital. 
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience leading, developing, and delivering marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively create strong relationships across a broad level of stakeholder groups 
  • Proven working experience in marketing, digital marketing, or branding, particularly within the industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills. 
  • Demonstrable experience implementing marketing campaigns and programs
  • Experience in optimizing creative and content
  • Solid knowledge of analytics
  • Working knowledge of DMP/CDP/CRM
  • Understanding of how to measure ROI
  • Ability to work with diverse teams to deploy integrated best practice models. 
  • Proven track record of inheriting and improving existing processes and implementing models of work. 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Proven understanding of data-driven marketing strategy, planning, budget allocation, and organizational alignment experience 
  • Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations and business objectives into marketing goals and measurements

A compensation range of $88,000 - $115,000 is the reasonable estimate that CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
