Job Description:

We are looking for an individual that is newer to the industry and is interested in sales and marketing. Depending on the position, we have flexible work schedules with the ability to work remotely when needed. There are also growth opportunities.

This would be a hybrid position with some basic framework but the idea is the job is yours to evolve and grow. You will be involved in a number of different divisions including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and product development.

Responsibilities

The Sales and Marketing Specialist works to expand revenue by working with current and potential customers, guiding them through the sales process and towards products or services to support customers in remedying their problems.

The Sales and Marketing works with smaller accounts and has the opportunity to work directly with our marketing team on creative projects and help bridge sales and marketing teams. This person will also work directly with senior management on special projects.

Job Duties

  1. Manage accounts and build strong relationships with customers.
  2. Work with management and marketing team to drive leads to company.
  3. Potential to work with operations and management on special projects.
  4. Meet with senior management and marketing team once per week. Assist leadership and marketing with various tasks.
  5. Meet sales goals and objectives set by Director of Sales & Customer Service
  6. Submits priority ship lists to the Director of Sales for manufactured plastic products (this is temporary).
  7. Reviews purchase orders. Confirm accurate and updated pricing, part numbers, and ensure pertinent information is captured before submitting purchase order to order entry.
  8. Determine if correlating products should be offered to customers for upsell opportunities.
  9. Support marketing team in its endeavors.
  10. Guide customers and prospect through the ACW sales process, following all company policies, quality standards and record keeping, in accordance with ISO-9001 and operating procedures.
  11. Document all sales activities in CRM / ERP systems. Create and maintain accounts and account contact information.
  12. Delegate work to customer service team as needed.
  13. Report competitor pricing, market trends, and overall feedback within industry to senior staff and team members. Document findings within ERP / CRM.
  14. Answer all customer and prospective customer questions and concerns accurately and timely. Document these accurately in CRM / ERP.

This is a base plus uncapped commission position with an additional pooled bonus structure based on yearly performance of the entire sales team.

Knowledge and Skills

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Competency with Microsoft Suites, specifically excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • BS/BA from an accredited University.
  • Interest and curiosity to grow and learn new skills within different areas of the company.
