Job Summary
Supports marketing efforts related to strategic communication of company products to help drive qualified lead generation, product sales and adoption, and customer retention. Collaborates withing marketing and across internal teams to execute on a variety of marketing communication plans and campaigns targeted to prospective and current customers, media, and trade publications, and develop innovative programs that drive demand.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinates and operates webinars, executes scheduled customer communications, creates and sends marketing messages via email or within OEC applications, and maintains assigned landing pages.
2. Identifies qualified leads from marketing activities and coordinates the follow-up process with Sales.
3. Executes customer interview process for testimonials including, but not limited to, interviewing customers, drafting testimonials, documenting customer feedback, and maintaining a bank of customer testimonials for use in presentations, advertisements, e-newsletters and emails.
4. Writes product-related materials that inform/educate prospective and current customers, including, but not limited to sell sheets, flyers, presentations, letters, emails, web pages, newsletters, social media, webinars and other materials for assigned target areas.
5. Collaborates with product management to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with targeted buyer personas.
6. Understands and documents the buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make; drives changes to the company’s sales and marketing processes based on what is learned.
7. Develops a marketing plan for assigned products in conjunction with the marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers as well as the acquisition of new customers.
8. Delivers foundational product/solution content and collateral, including customer presentations, product collateral, videos, use cases, case studies and value visualization ROI.
9. Assesses the effectiveness of marketing programs that support targeted products and develops and provides recommendations to management that will drive and improve outcomes.
10. Plans the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products, manages the cross-functional implementation and deliverables of the project plan, and leverages appropriate teams for execution.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.
Experience
At least 6 months experience writing technical, web or newspaper content, coordinating marketing projects, or a general work background in business-to-business marketing.
