Pager Health partners with leading payers, providers and employers representing more than 28 million individuals across the United States and Latin America.

We believe that healthcare should work for everyone. We believe that it’s too important to be as cumbersome and difficult as it is. And we believe that there is a better way to deliver a simplified, more meaningful healthcare experience for all – one that we’re determined to enable.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our People Operations team. This role will support various HR functions and contribute to creating a positive work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HRIS Administration: Offer administrative support for our Human Capital Management (HCM) system (Dayforce). Responsibilities include maintaining employee records and the HR database, processing employee change requests, and generating reports.
  • Audit Support: Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by organizing and reviewing HR-related documentation.
  • Executive Assistance: Provide support to our Chief People Officer, including managing schedules, preparing documents, and coordinating meetings.
  • Leave of Absence Administration: Support the administration process for employee leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Employee Inquiries: Respond to basic employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Company Events and Communications: Support the planning and execution of company events, as well as assist with internal communications to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within HR, People Operations, or as an Executive Administrative.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a start-up / tech environment.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably Dayforce.
Personal Attributes:The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Strong ability to work independently: You'll be comfortable tackling tasks and projects with minimal supervision, managing your time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Skill in maneuvering solo: You can navigate complex situations and make decisions autonomously when needed, while knowing when to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Keen attention to detail: Your work demonstrates precision and thoroughness. You have the ability to spot nuances and potential issues that others might overlook.
  • Self-starter mentality: You're proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and don't wait to be told what to do next. You take ownership of your work and continuously seek ways to add value.
  • Incentive-taking prowess: You're' not afraid to propose new ideas, start projects, or take calculated risks to drive positive outcomes for the team and organization.
  • Excellent communication skills: You can articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbally. You're adept at tailoring your communication style to various audiences, from teammates to senior leadership.
  • Collaborative Spirit: While able to work independently, you also thrive in team settings. You actively contribute to a positive work environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • This combination of attributes will enable you to excel in our dynamic work environment, contributing to both individual and team success.
