Job Summary


Flighthouse is seeking a strategic, creative, and culturally fluent Network Manager to oversee and expand our owned and operated network of music and pop culture-themed Instagram pages, with additional oversight of fan pages as needed, per client requests. This person will be responsible for defining the voice, vision, and content strategy across our portfolio, driving engagement and follower growth, and ensuring seamless campaign integration for music and brand clients.


This is a pivotal leadership role within the Flighthouse digital ecosystem, ideal for someone who lives and breathes internet culture, understands music’s role in meme trends, and thrives at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and execution.


You’ll take the reins of some of Flighthouse’s most culturally relevant and high-potential pages—and help shape how artists, fandoms, and trends collide on the internet. If you're passionate about music, memes, and driving cultural impact at scale, this role gives you a front-row seat to both the chaos and the creativity of modern digital marketing


Responsibilities


Network Leadership & Content Strategy


  1. Lead the day-to-day programming and long-term strategy for Flighthouse’s owned & operated music and pop culture Instagram pages.
  2. Maintain a distinct, authentic voice for each page while aligning with the overarching Flighthouse brand and campaign goals.
  3. Build and manage content calendars informed by cultural trends, platform data, and campaign priorities.
  4. Identify and onboard new fan pages for activation when needed, and oversee their tone and performance during campaigns.

Creative Direction & Content Oversight


  1. Direct the creation and curation of timely, high-impact memes, music content, and pop culture visuals.
  2. Set creative standards across the network, ensuring high meme fluency, humor, and contextual relevance.
  3. Campaign Integration & Client Execution
  4. Collaborate with the music marketing team to develop and execute creative social campaigns through the network.
  5. Translate client briefs into native content formats that feel organic, entertaining, and shareable.
  6. Oversee all network deliverables and ensure that branded and music-related content meets both campaign goals and platform best practices.

Audience Development & Trend Responsiveness


  1. Monitor performance across all network pages—using insights to refine creative and posting strategy.
  2. Stay ahead of platform trends, meme formats, and algorithm shifts to evolve the network’s presence and output.
  3. Respond to community engagement (comments, DMs) to maintain an authentic voice and follower connection where applicable.

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization


  1. Own and report on weekly performance metrics (growth, engagement, reach) across the network.
  2. Deliver post-campaign performance recaps with insights and recommendations.
  3. Identify opportunities for A/B testing content formats or posting cadences to optimize performance.

Qualifications


  1. Deep expertise in meme culture, internet trends, and Gen Z humor.
  2. Proven experience managing or growing high-performing social accounts (preferably in music or entertainment).
  3. Strong creative instincts with the ability to turn briefs into compelling, viral content.
  4. Proficient in tools like Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  5. Familiarity with music fandoms, TikTok culture, and Instagram meme subcultures.

Pay Scale


  1. $18.00-$21.00 USD / per hour
  2. The final compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
