Job Description:

The Marketing Manager is chiefly responsible for marketing and advertising aerial adventure course experiences at both Navitat locations (Asheville, NC & Knoxville TN). The full-time Marketing Manager will develop and execute targeted, persuasive marketing efforts with a primary focus on paid Google and social media ads. This position includes leading organic social media efforts by pushing regular organic content utilizing on-course guide staff. Modern-day sales instincts, excellent customer service skills, and strong proficiencies in digital Ad management and SEO will be required for success in this position.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve company goal of increasing customer traffic
  • Develop, plan, and execute Navitat’s Google Ads platform with targeted AD campaigns
  • Develop, plan, and execute Navitat’s social media Ad campaigns including FB and IG
  • Directly execute all graphic design requirements, using Illustrator and Photoshop to provide all of Navitat's design and artistic requirements
  • Develop comprehensive reports detailing the performance of SEO strategies and marketing campaigns using Google analytics
  • Oversee 3rd party graphics providers such as that required for apparel and signage
  • Collaborate with NCA's Guest Services Manager and Group Sales Manager to execute a sales driven marketing outreach program targeting both the local and tourism community
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage and nurture leads

 

Role Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in graphic design
  • Minimum 2 yrs professional training or education in marketing
  • Minimum of 2 yrs Marketing experience with a sales focus
  • Must have experience in successfully implementing various social media sales programsStrong proficiency in digital marketing tools (ie: Google Ads, social media ads, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in SEO
  • Strong proficiency with ad design using various softwares
  • Ability to regularly participate in aerial adventure activities, (no substantial fear of heights or resistance to being on course regularly)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, throughout the year and during the week
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Must be able to travel to Knoxville (2 to 4 day trips per month)

 

Role Compensation & Benefits:

  • 47 - 52K per annum (dependent upon candidate competencies, background and experience)
