STATUS: FULL-TIME (EXEMPT)

CORE4 Athletic Complex is a 3-court indoor basketball, fitness, and training facility with conference rooms and a recovery/treatment area. POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of the Marketing Coordinator is to promote CORE4 Athletic Complex as a premier sport, recreation, and training destination. This position will work with event providers/vendors, be responsible for promoting the primary revenue streams through effective marketing and advertising efforts. This role will assist in the implementation of a marketing plan including digital, social, grassroots, and local/regional/national event relationship building, and more.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Creating the marketing plan in partnership with the General Manager
  2. Executing the marketing plan and strategic initiatives
  3. Managing and updating the venue website
  4. Content development for digital or social media
  5. Designing flyers and promotional materials
  6. Managing social media business accounts including regular posting and management of content calendar
  7. Preparing and presenting regular reporting on marketing strategy and results
  8. Capturing quality video content of guests, leagues, events, and programs
  9. Developing creative ideas to improve the foot traffic into CORE4
  10. Creating and executing promotional contests, giveaways, and membership events
  11. Building relationships with schools, churches, and other businesses
  12. Increasing social media followers and the number of positive Google reviews
  13. Updating the in house digital marketing/advertising campaigns
  14. Monitoring guest feedback, reviews, and ratings and consistently presenting trends to the General Manager
  15. Assisting with all complex public relations efforts, inquiries, and strategies
  16. All other duties assigned by the General Manager

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

  1. Proven success in generating awareness through consumer marketing and branding
  2. Experience in youth and amateur sports as a consumer, marketing professional, or other relevant experience
  3. Action-oriented personality with a 'get it done' attitude and proficiency for efficiency
  4. Experience with DSLR camera for photos and video is preferred
  5. Experience in using a CRM to manage and nurture potential or current customers
  6. Proven experience in the successful launch of destination-specific advertising/marketing campaigns
  7. Experience and success in promoting special events
  8. Prior experience in marketing research to gain consumer insights (locally, regionally, and nationally) to identify key selling points for attracting corporate/organization relationships including sponsorship and financial partnerships, or business development activities
  9. Management of venue website in the WordPress platform

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or advertising; or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
  2. Experience in measuring and reporting marketing/advertising campaign analytics to ultimately measure ROI, efficiency, and effectiveness of campaign activity
  3. Ability to develop content and write with company voice in mind
  4. Experience in managing business accounts on a variety of social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  5. Technologically savvy with skills in using multiple platforms or software for a variety of tasks such as cloud file management or project management
  6. Advanced knowledge in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  7. Entry level or beginner knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in InDesign and Illustrator
  8. Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills
  9. Must be a team player and deadline-driven
  10. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  11. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours)

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  1. Must be able to lift 30 pounds waist high
  2. May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
  3. Will be required to operate a computer
  4. Facility has intermittent loud noise levels
