Break Sports is a mission-driven sports booking platform dedicated to making recreational sports accessible for all. We give players a new way to find free-to-join clubs based on location, skill, level, and interest with the goal of connecting and building communities through sport.

In this role, you will be supporting the Design Lead with various day to day design-related tasks as well as the creation and curation of social media content and event materials, and maintaining and organizing the digital asset library.

You will be responsible for:

• Creating visually appealing graphics, photos, and layouts for various projects, including but not limited to marketing materials, prints, digital assets, website, social media, promotional assets, event graphics and collateral, and merch.
• Developing and maintaining a consistent visual identity across all platforms, ensuring brand coherence and recognition.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Staying updated on design trends, tools, and techniques, and incorporating innovative ideas into design projects.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience
• Accuracy, attention to detail, flexibility and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present design concepts
• Proficient in Figma
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Proficient in editing videos for social media using both apps like Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
• Experience with UI/UX design principles is a plus
• NYC based is a plus
• Wants to work at a rapidly growing company and has interest in tennis, pickleball and/or golf
