Role Overview:

They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Business Development to join their team. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in driving outbound sales and securing new business contracts. Your primary responsibility will be to build and manage a robust sales pipeline, targeting corporate clients in the learning and development (L&D) space. You will also lead and mentor a team of three business development professionals, guiding them to achieve their sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive outbound sales strategy to drive new business opportunities.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Engage with corporate clients, understanding their learning and development needs, and positioning their solutions effectively.
  • Lead contract negotiations and secure long-term agreements with corporate partners.
  • Manage and mentor a team of three business development professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of their learning solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outbound sales and business development, particularly in the B2B sector.
  • Demonstrated success in selling contracts and building a sales pipeline from scratch.
  • Strong background in the learning and development (L&D) or corporate learning space.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing and leading a small team, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
