Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced SEO Writer to join our content team. Initially we can offer 25 hours a month of writing, which can grow based on performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO principles and experience creating optimized content for websites, blogs, product pages, and more. The SEO Writer will work closely with the marketing, product, and web development teams to ensure that all written content is aligned with our brand’s goals, optimized for search engines, and designed to drive traffic and engagement. We actively track content rankings and run the writing through evaluation tools - only writers that can produce quality SEO content should apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit clear, concise, and engaging content optimized for search engines, including blog posts, articles, web pages, and other digital content.
• Conduct keyword research using SEO tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush) to identify opportunities and trends.
• Implement SEO best practices in content creation, including the strategic use of keywords, internal/external linking, and proper formatting.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
• Write Ad copy for Google Ads

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SEO Writer, Content Writer, or similar role. Strong understanding of SEO principles, including on-page SEO, keyword research, and link-building strategies.
• Ad copywriting experience
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and other reporting tools.
• Understanding of content marketing strategies and how SEO fits into a broader digital marketing strategy.
• Ability to work remotely, must reside within the USA, with a preference for candidates near Greensboro, NC.
