Job Description:

The B2B Marketing Manager is a client-facing position responsible for getting clients visibility and conversions through the digital marketing and content strategy for assigned B2B accounts. This is a hands-on role, establishing the marketing plan, implementing tactics, and creating content. You meet with your clients regularly and collaborate with our team to implement the plan. You incorporate compelling content, email campaigns, website strategies, search engine optimization (SEO), events, social media outreach, search engine marketing (SEM), and more into clients’ marketing plans. In addition, you take time to continually learn about new marketing strategies and integrate them into your work. You review your clients’ data analytics, recommend how to increase conversion, and implement your recommendations. You are your clients’ trusted marketing manager.

You analyze data to increase visibility and conversions. As a Marketing Manager, you meet regularly with clients, virtually. You are proactive and assertive, while also sensitive to what it takes to project manage the marketing plan and motivate a team and clients to meet deadlines. You have an outstanding attention to detail. You execute quickly and can accurately prioritize your focus on the highest impact opportunities for the amount of time and resources required. You are an excellent communicator and enjoy sharing what you know with peers and clients while also learning from them.

Websites, email, content, SEO, social and PPC are foundation elements of our approach. This is a full-time, remote work position. We are a fully remote company. You do not have to reside in Denver but must reside in the continental United States.

Your Role

  • Manage digital marketing for a set of named client accounts, creating and running their marketing plan, building advisor relationships, and maintaining consistent communications. Incorporate elements of traditional marketing in your efforts.
  • Develop client messaging and content plans incorporating multiple types of tactics for assigned clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies and campaigns you define within scope and timeframe to clients’ delight.
  • Design, direct and / or write nurturing, lead generation, and marketing funnel content that fits all phases of the Client Buy Cycle.
  • Proactively coach and make strategic recommendations to clients, expanding their thinking about marketing, improving overall marketing results and the client’s brand.
  • Analyze email campaign and digital marketing performance to refine targeting and content.
  • Present marketing plan and campaign results and recommendations to clients.
  • Identify new opportunities to retain and grow client accounts.
  • Expand your digital marketing knowledge to guide clients’ marketing.

Your Education and Experience

You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. You have a minimum 6 years’ experience designing and implementing marketing plans and campaigns incorporating content, SEO, email, events, SEM, social engagement, and websites to drive leads for small B2B companies. Ideally you have agency experience.

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 5-6 years’ experience designing marketing plans that incorporate content, email campaigns, website strategies, SEO, events, and social media and other marketing tactics
  • 3-5 years copywriting experience, including but not limited to, developing marketing campaigns, lead generation and website content for small B2B companies
  • Expertise incorporating SEO into web and social content
  • A track record of successful conversions using multiple marketing strategies
  • Experience working with companies with $5-25M annual revenue
  • 4-5 years’ agency or freelance experience working with multiple clients simotaneously
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to clients and peers, utilizing data and reporting tools
  • Expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Expertise in Google Analytics and other marketing data analytics tools
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a sense of urgency
  • AI prompt engineering experience is a plus
