The Challenge
We're looking for 2 entry-level Engineering Technicians to join our Division 3 Engineering team.
In this role, you will learn to:
- Provide technical work supporting senior technicians and engineers.
- Provide general office and computer support for data entry relating to project records, SAP, and HiCams.
- Process monthly and final estimates, check calculations, and resolve pay record and material quantity discrepancies.
- Research project documents.
- Process material prepayments.
- Track Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation.
- Assist with project meetings.
- Track technician certifications to ensure they are kept current.
What You Bring
- Experience working in a team environment to complete assignments.
- Computer knowledge and skills using laptops, iPads, and software.
- Customer service experience interacting with the public.
Bonus Points!
Candidates with:
- Knowledge and understanding of general concepts, practices, and theories used in construction, construction inspection, and/or construction surveying.
- Knowledge of standards and specifications and plan reading experience.
- Knowledge of survey crew techniques, duties, and responsibilities.
Education & Experience
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, or a related curriculum; or
- An equivalent combination of training and experience.
