Non-Negotiable Requirement


This role requires both:

  1. Corporate video production experience (you’ve shipped real work and understand what it takes to deliver)
  2. Video sales experience (you’ve owned discovery-to-close on production projects)

The Role


We’re hiring an Executive Producer (EP) to own revenue + video strategy for new business and (if assigned) a book of accounts.


This is not a day-to-day project manager role. You are accountable for:

  1. Leading discovery and strategy
  2. Building scopes, budgets, and proposals
  3. Closing deals at target margin
  4. Protecting client confidence through clean handoffs and selective involvement at key milestones
  5. Driving account growth through structured expansion (URRR)


Execution is run by the production team (Senior Producers / APs / editors). You partner tightly with them and step in when needed to protect outcomes, margin, and client experience.


We’re hiring 1-2 EPs.


Responsibilities


1) Sales + Pipeline Ownership

  1. Own the sales process end-to-end: inbound/outbound lead → discovery → strategy → proposal → follow-up → close
  2. Qualify hard and fast: fit, budget, timeline, stakeholder alignment, success metrics
  3. Build proposals, SOWs, and budgets that are accurate, realistic, and margin-protecting
  4. Maintain HubSpot hygiene: stages, next steps, close plans, forecasts, and follow-up cadence
  5. Hit monthly/quarterly bookings targets (new logo + reactivation as assigned)


2) Video Strategy (Performance Campaign POV)

  1. Lead consultative discovery: business goals, ICP, messaging, distribution channels, success metrics
  2. Architect the right video campaign structure (variants, cutdowns, formats, deployment context)
  3. Translate marketing objectives into a clear creative + production approach production can execute
  4. Ensure “brief quality” is elite - production should start with clarity, not guesswork


3) Account Growth (If Assigned a Book)

  1. Own expansion and retention for your accounts through a weekly cadence (URRR)
  2. Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and proactively pitch them
  3. Build long-term relationships that drive repeat revenue without discounting or chaos


4) Margin + Quality Protection

  1. Price and scope work to hit target margins
  2. Flag risk early (scope creep, timeline compression, stakeholder misalignment)
  3. Join key moments as needed (kickoff, creative alignment, major reviews) to keep projects on track
  4. Own escalation path when client risk appears (confidence, timeline, quality)


Must-Haves

  1. Proven corporate video production experience (you understand delivery realities)
  2. Proven video sales experience (you’ve closed production projects end-to-end)
  3. Strong consultative selling with senior marketing stakeholders
  4. Able to scope projects accurately across $15K-$150K+ ranges
  5. Extremely disciplined follow-up and CRM habits
  6. Strong written communication (briefs, proposals, recap emails)
  7. High ownership - no excuses, no dropped balls


Nice-to-Haves

  1. B2B tech experience (VP Marketing / Demand Gen buyers)
  2. Experience selling campaign or multi-asset video systems
  3. Experience collaborating with paid media or demand gen teams (not running ads, but speaking their language)
  4. HubSpot power user


Qualifications

  1. 5+ years in corporate video production (agency or in-house)
  2. 3+ years owning sales cycles for video/production services (discovery to close)
  3. Experience as EP / Producer / Sr Producer / Account Director (or equivalent)


Compensation + Benefits

  1. Base: $80,000-$110,000 (depending on experience)
  2. Commission / incentive plan (OTE $120,000-$200,000+ based on performance)
