Position Overview

At Strive, we’re looking for talented Software Engineers who think strategically and execute efficiently. Our ideal team members are disciplined, meet deadlines, communicate clearly, and are passionate about both personal growth and teamwork.

You’ll play a key role in helping us build and maintain modern, scalable web applications that support our mission to improve patient care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain fast, scalable, and responsive web applications.
2. Design and develop both front-end and back-end components.
3. Collaborate with team members to turn ideas into working solutions.
4. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
5. Ensure data safety and implement security best practices.
6. Integrate third-party APIs and services.
7. Troubleshoot bugs and optimize performance.
8. Stay up to date with new technologies and suggest improvements.
9. Take part in code reviews, planning sessions, and discussions.
10. Help improve software development processes and team practices.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2. 5+ years of experience with front-end development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, front-end frameworks).
3. 3+ years of experience with back-end development using Go, Python, or Node.js.
4. Familiarity with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tools.
5. Basic DevOps skills — server deployment, SSL/DNS/Database setup. AWS experience is a plus.
6. Ability to write CRUD queries for PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
7. Knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD, app security, and testing frameworks.
8. Understanding of responsive design and Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban).
9. 75% remote work with about 25% travel (3–4 times per year).
