Position Title: E-Commerce Copywriter

Reporting To: Senior E-Commerce Website Manager

We are a rapidly growing online women's boho boutique. We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented E-Commerce Copywriter to help bring our brand’s voice to life and connect with our customers through engaging product descriptions, email campaigns, ad campaigns, blogs, and more.

Position Overview:

As an E-Commerce Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and conversion-focused copy for our Shopify Plus store, email newsletters, and social media channels. You’ll ensure that all content aligns with our marketing calendar and supports our SEO strategy. You’ll need a keen understanding of fashion trends, an eye for detail, and the ability to write in a style that reflects our boho, laid-back aesthetic. You’ll also play a key role in enhancing our customers' shopping experience by clearly communicating product features, benefits, and sizing guidance in a relatable and customer-centric way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write engaging, on-brand product descriptions that highlight key features, sizing, and care instructions, and ensure alignment with overarching brand messaging and strategy.
• Optimize product descriptions for SEO and search visibility, utilizing performance metrics to inform ongoing improvements.
• Create strategic email marketing copy for promotions, product launches, and newsletters that align with business goals and drive customer engagement.
• Develop compelling ad copy to boost brand awareness and customer interaction, incorporating data-driven insights to refine messaging.
• Write blog posts that align with the marketing calendar, enhancing SEO by addressing relevant topics, trends, and styling tips to position the brand as a thought leader.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and CX teams to shape content strategies that reflect customer preferences, sales trends, and business priorities.
• Oversee the optimization of all content, including product descriptions and blog posts, for SEO and search visibility, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Ensure content is accurate, grammatically precise, and consistent with the brand’s voice and tone, setting quality standards for all written materials.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in ecommerce or fashion.
• Strong understanding of boho fashion and current style trends.
• Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices for product descriptions, blog posts, and web content.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy with attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Shopify Plus or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of email marketing tools like Attentive is a plus.
• Experience writing blog posts and aligning content with a marketing calendar is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
