Digital Marketer - REMOTE but must be local to Southern California
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Digital Marketer to develop, implement, and optimize our online marketing efforts. This role blends storytelling with data-driven strategy—leveraging social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and website optimization to amplify our mission, engage target audiences, and drive participation in programs. You will work closely with leadership, outreach teams, and creative staff to ensure our digital presence reflects our values and supports organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Develop and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (social, search, email, display) to build brand awareness and engagement.
- Create campaign calendars aligned with organizational priorities, awareness months, and program launches.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns reflect current initiatives and service offerings.
Traditional Marketing & Advertising
- Plan and execute offline campaigns including print, radio, direct mail, and community placements.
- Develop brochures, posters, banners, and outreach materials.
- Coordinate with local media outlets and manage vendor relationships for printing and promotional items.
- Ensure brand consistency and cultural sensitivity across all offline efforts.
- Track reach, ROI, and integrate traditional strategies with digital campaigns for maximum impact.
Content Creation & Management
- Write, edit, and publish content across social media, email newsletters, and website pages.
- Partner with creative teams to produce visuals, videos, and stories.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and style.
Social Media Management
- Oversee posting, engagement, and monitoring across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more).
- Develop strategies to grow audiences and engagement.
- Respond to messages and inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
Analytics & Optimization
- Track and report on KPIs across campaigns.
- Use data insights to improve reach, conversions, and ROI.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine ad creative and targeting.
SEO & Website Support
- Optimize content for search visibility.
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure a user-friendly, accessible site.
- Update landing pages and service information as needed.
Example Scenarios
- Launching targeted Facebook Ads to boost program enrollment in high-need communities.
- Coordinating a multi-channel campaign to promote a health fair, leading to record attendance and sign-ups.
- Shifting social strategy toward video storytelling after discovering higher engagement with Instagram Reels.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven sectors.
- Proven success managing paid campaigns on Google, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and social management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Analytics.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed marketing decisions.
- Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
