Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Asset Manager to oversee the organization, storage, and distribution of digital assets within our company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all digital content is easily accessible, properly categorized, and maintained according to best practices. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and creative insight, making it essential for the candidate to have a strong understanding of digital asset management systems and workflows.

Duties

  1. Manage the digital asset library, ensuring all assets are accurately tagged, categorized, and easily retrievable.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies that align with business objectives.
  3. Utilize SQL for database management and reporting on asset usage and performance metrics.
  4. Implement wireframing techniques to enhance user experience (UX) for internal asset management tools.
  5. Develop and maintain XML schemas for effective data interchange between systems.
  6. Oversee content development processes, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards.
  7. Conduct usability testing to assess the effectiveness of digital assets in meeting user needs.
  8. Engage in copy editing to ensure clarity and consistency across all digital content.
  9. Leverage machine learning tools to optimize asset categorization and retrieval processes.
  10. Provide training and support for team members on best practices for using SharePoint and other digital asset management platforms.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  2. Proven experience in digital asset management or a similar role.
  3. Proficiency in SQL, Figma, XML, UX principles, wireframing techniques, and content development processes.
  4. Strong understanding of usability principles and copy editing standards.
  5. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
