Duties:
A professional Database Administrator (DBA) will manage and maintain optimal performance of all SQL Server databases in development, UAT, and production environments The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users while being secure from unauthorized access. The DBA will oversee and implement the deployment process using Visual Studio and Microsoft DevOps. The DBA will also provide guidance to developers on efficient and effective T-SQL scripts, schemas, and indexing. The DBA will monitor, troubleshoot, and fix issues identified on database server activity logs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent education and work experience.
Five to seven years of experience in database administration.
Strong command of T-SQL and SQL server tools.
Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
PowerShell scripting skills
Experience working with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, MDS
MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server or Microsoft Azure Devops.
Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge

Occasional travel between training or branch locations may be required.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
