TorchLight seeks an experienced Digital Content Producer, Part-time (Long-term contract) to provide critical support in maintaining and updating a high-visibility public website for our non-profit client in the DC-area. In this role, you will review and produce digital content, ensure adherence to accessibility and style standards, and support internal stakeholders in creating and updating web content using a content management system (CMS). This opportunity will allow you to leverage your digital content management and production skills while collaborating closely with an internal team to deliver accessible, engaging online content.

Location:

Fully remote. Ideally qualified applicants are located in the DMV or DC metropolitan area.

U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.

Employment:

Contract opportunity. Part-time, 10-20 hours per week.

Rate/Salary Range:

$42 to $47 per hour

Note: Rates and salary ranges are commensurate with experience, certifications, industry knowledge, and technical skills and abilities

Role responsibilities:

1. Review digital content for readability, accessibility, and organizational style standards
2. Support internal stakeholders in creating and editing digital content
3. Create and update web pages and components using a CMS
4. Review, prioritize, and collaborate on website change requests and solutions

Skills and experience:

1. 3+ years of experience managing and producing digital content
2. Proficient in content management systems; strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Strong attention to detail and collaborative problem-solving abilities
5. Experience in accessible and user-centered web content production is preferred
