We are onboarding Freelance Creative Designers experienced in creating meaningful brands that tell a story for growth-minded businesses ready to scale to national level recognition, as well as community brand development and marketing. The ideal freelancer(s) will have designed brands and creative artwork for commercial and government sector clients particularly the Digital Health. This will include

Responsibilities for the Freelanced Creative Designer:

1. Mentor and encourage creative team members to foster a positive work environment
2. Shoulder the responsibility of the quality and completion of all work projects assigned to members of the creative team
3. Participate in and provide regular opportunities for professional development and growth to team
4. Report progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution
5. Ensure designs and content reflect consistently and positively the brand image and company ideals
6. Work with internal and external strategic partners to create products using the most current industry best practices
7. Serve as a liaison between the marketing and creative team and between the creative team and individual clients
8. Anticipate problems that may impede a project from completing on time and implement solutions

Qualifications

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Familiarity with a variety of software programs, especially Adobe Creative
3. Knowledge of how to develop brand identities through multi-channel marketing
4. Good comfort level interacting with high-profile clients and industry professionals in the government and private sector
5. Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development opportunities in the areas of graphic design or social media
6. Recent hands-on experience with applying design, copy, or web best practices
7. Professional business skills, such as negotiation, project management, and leadership
8. Web design experience an advantage, especially using HTML5 and WordPress
9. Talent in presenting information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detail
10. Experience in public health, multicultural, and product marketing is a plus
11. Advance degree in marketing, communications, or similar and 10+ years of experience

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $47.00 per hour
