The Copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling copy that resonates with target audiences and aligns with client brand guidelines, tone, and industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO principles, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to manage projects efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative copy strategies that align with client objectives and brand voice.
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to produce accurate and innovative content.
- Collaborate with the content team to determine the content calendar and manage Junior Copywriter workloads, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.
- Maintain direct communication with clients to understand their needs, present ideas, and gather feedback to ensure content meets or exceeds expectations.
- Work closely with the SEO team to incorporate SEO strategies into all copy, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of content strategies, making adjustments as needed to improve performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and content marketing strategies to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
Essential Requirements:
- Create client-specific copy that achieves a minimum of 90% client satisfaction rate, ensuring it aligns with the client's industry, tone, and brand. Accurately determine and document target audience and desired brand perception during initial client meetings.
- Maintain the content calendar effectively. Alert the Manager when approaching this limit, especially if the workload exceeds available workload.
- Ensure timely delivery of all copy, including link-building content, achieving at least a 95% on-time delivery rate, contingent on receiving all necessary client information.
- Collaborate with other teams and communicate effectively with clients, ensuring at least a 90% client comprehension rate on the SEO rationale behind the copy. Ensure cohesive content strategies that align with overall SEO goals.
- Demonstrate complete proficiency in utilizing assisted writing tools, maintaining a 100% accuracy rate in applying "SEO recipe" copy creation. Regularly update and enhance skills to stay aligned with evolving SEO trends and tool functionalities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a copywriter or related role.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in content management systems and SEO tools, with a strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage relationships with clients.
