Responsibilities

We are looking for a Content Editor with an SEO background and experience in content creation and management for business blogs and websites. You will be working closely with the Head of Content to review all content deliverables before they go out to clients, ensuring the overall quality and making certain that they follow SEO best practices. You will also be expected to provide detailed feedback to writers and support internal content projects, including guest posting campaigns, etc. The Content Editor will report directly to the Head of Content (HOC) to carry out content-related tasks that include, but are not limited to: proofreading and editing, copyediting and copywriting, content strategy, content brief creation, and content optimization. Responsibilities:

• Proof and edit articles and provide detailed feedback to writers as necessary
• Create strategic, relevant, and keyword-based topic proposals for different clients
• Create content briefs
• Write, review, and edit meta copy recommendations that follow SEO best practices
• Create/execute content optimization recommendations for clients
• Support content projects within the organization
• Perform content-related ad hoc tasks as necessary
• Organization of content files and documents

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in creating, editing, and managing content for businesses
• Excellent command of the English language
• Exceptional writing, research, and editorial skills.
• Has high standards for content
• Solid understanding of SEO
• Can effectively communicate feedback and insights to the team
• Proficiency with basic Google applications (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc)
• Organized, has great attention to detail, and has great time management skills
• Self-motivated and can work independently
• Reliable
• Experience working in a global environment is preferred

• A laptop or computer
• A stable internet connection (at least 5 Mbps)
