The Career Opportunity:

You will be given ample opportunity to grow the accounting department and lead the accounting team in the establishment of new processes, procedures, and reports. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance of all financial records - including corporate taxes for Canada and Germany; GST/HST; US sales tax; VAT UK; VAT Germany; VAT EU. This opportunity will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to work on budget creation and optimization, ERP optimization, and the creation of managerial reports that provide real-time data necessary to make important decisions. Job Responsibilities:

· Overseeing the accurate completion of month-end and year-end close and generation of a full set of Financial Statements

· Ensuring the accurate and timely filling of corporate tax reporting for Canadian and German Branch

· Ensuring the accurate and timely filling of GST/HST reporting; US Sales tax reporting; German, EU and UK VAT reporting

· Coordinate on year-end Review/Audit with External Auditor

· Prepare & enhance internal financial controls and SOPs

· Development & implementation of bookkeeping, cash flow monitoring, and managerial accounting processes and procedures

· Create Managerial accounting reports to identify inefficiencies and help maximizing ROI

· Work with department leads to create budgets and place budgetary controls/processes in place to achieve operational efficiency

· Oversee the facilitation of accounts payables & receivables

· Optimization of ERP for more accurate, automated and timely financial data

· Staying up-to-date on financial reporting laws to ensure TVape is adhering to all policies when filing taxes in all applicable countries/regions

· Hands-on leadership style, to ensure the success of the department.

Job Requirements:

Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
CPA, or ACCA designation.
2-5 years of experience overseeing an accounting department.
Experience overseeing the recording and filling of corporate income taxes and sales taxes.
Experience developing optimized budgets for a company.
Experience creating Managerial Accounting reports.
Eager to Improve Department.
Experience with Common Accounting Software is Required
Experience with ERP is a plus. Netsuite experience is great.
Hands-on leadership style.
Experience doing year-end financials with external auditors.
