Department: Property Management - Marketing

Reports To: Senior Creative Marketing Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: The Website Manager is responsible for coordinating, developing, managing and maintaining all owned and third-party property websites. This position requires creative vision and basic knowledge of backend website development. Additionally, this position facilitates communication and collaboration among onsite teams, clients, and third-party web developers. The Website Manager will be adept at building Entrata-based templated websites, understanding a variety of third-party agency website backends, and supporting the Marketing team with all web-based tasks, contracts, edits, and questions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manages all property websites by updating copy, imagery, links and more through HTML, WordPress, and other content management systems to appeal to potential residents.

Communicates with website developers on custom and template websites build-outs, making websites more user-centered and better for search engines. Guides process on choosing the web developer on owned and third-party assets.

Initiates contracts with web-developers and clients based on the approved agency.

Writes SEO-centric copy for websites and designs templated websites for various assets.

Creates Entrata-based websites that align with the brands created by the Senior Creative Marketing Managers.

Coordinates all aspects of website domain handling—purchasing, owning, renewing, and domain name system information.

Works with Software department and Marketing Technologist on feeding over accurate pricing and availability on all websites.

Creates Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager codes to add to the websites for Strategy team.

Tracks weekly and monthly web audit completion list for onsite teams.

Must be able to meet predictable attendance and punctuality expectations and physical demands of the position complying with RangeWater’s policies and performance expectations.

Organizational Responsibilities:
Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).

Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).

Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve the company's efficiency, profitability, and productivity.

Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, , processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training programs and by accessing other sources of information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.

Work Hours (may vary by state or location): This position is scheduled for 40 hours in a regular work week. Company hours of operation are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. Must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied.

Education/Experience:
Employment history that demonstrates knowledge of digital media and/or website management. Marketing administrative or creative experience preferred. High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Language Ability:
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete and interpret legal documents, sell and explain apartment features, and answer questions. Ability to write routine reports, marketing plans, and correspondence. Ability to verbally communicate expectations and coach others.

Math Ability:
Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, decimals, and fractions, and calculate percentages in order to complete financial records, budgets, and other fiscal reporting information.

Reasoning Ability:
Demonstrated understanding of property operations. Demonstrated understanding of data derived by marketing activities and their impact and success rates. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
Strong personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with website development platforms and skillset to learn.

Certificates and Licenses:
Current valid driver’s license is required.

Incumbents must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities. Must be able to operate golf carts at properties with golf carts, walk extended distances and navigate stairs to multiple levels daily. Must be able to view computer screens and other electronic equipment for extended periods of time where visual strain may result.

Incumbent must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Regular and routine travel may be required to attend training classes, conduct market research, or participate in other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
