How you contribute to our mission:

Reprise Software is currently looking for an experienced Web Application Developer to help us build and deliver a major upgrade to our RLM administration application. You will also assist in the design and development of new features, enhancements, and capabilities that we plan to offer to our customers over time.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in planning of new features for development, understand the needs of the teams, encapsulate the expected behavior changes in test cases, provide estimates for implementation and deliver the new features within the provided estimates.
• Create websites and interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices and incorporate data from back-end databases and services.
• Work closely and effectively with other members of the team to produce efficient, reliable, and maintainable systems that satisfy the test cases.
• Develop or validate testing schedules that address all browsers and devices, ensuring web content can be accessed on any computer.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and security.
• Collaborate to review each other’s code for robustness and to both teach and learn.
• Produce necessary documentation for the software, ranging from in-source comments to end user documentation.
• Refactor legacy code for improved optimization and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering, computer science, or web development from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services — CSS, CSS3, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, security principles, REST, and web UI/UX design
• Content management systems (CMSs) such as WordPress
• Ability and desire to work as a part of an agile team of other highly skilled developers
• Strong English written and oral communication skills
• Experience with or understanding of C#, SSO, web authentication/authorization, eCommerce, software licensing, MySQL, and agile development is preferred
• Front-end frameworks such as Blazor, Vue, React, and Angular and back-end frameworks such as ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, Node.js is desired
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac environments
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with people over video calls, phone, and through email

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
