This position is responsible for the marketing of the Company’s rubbish bins to new clients, as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients. The position includes preparing proposals; coordinating with the drivers, mechanics, and office staff; scheduling; and coordinating repairs and maintenance.
Areas of Responsibility
Sales
· Identifying potential new clients and providing information on the Company’s services;
· Preparing and delivering proposals for bin services;
· Following up with the Company’s existing clients to ensure all needs are being met; and
· Promoting the Company’s services.
Operations
· Working with the drivers and office staff to provide required information on new clients;
· Identifying any challenges or limitations at service locations;
· Scheduling of bin deliveries and hauling services;
· Coordinating repairs and maintenance by communicating with the mechanics and assisting in ordering and tracking parts;
· Coordinating vehicle registrations and safety checks; and
· Maintaining hauling logs.
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school graduate
· Previous experience with trucking and/or rubbish hauling
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to be a self-directed worker
· Able to work in a fast paced environment
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Effective sales and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.
· Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
