Prepare menu items in accordance with established procedures, method of preparation, and adherence to menu specifications. Prepares food orders according to guest check instructions. Attention to quality and presentation at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Prepares preliminary preparation of food items for guest satisfaction, complying with all portion sizes and quality standards.
Prepares food items in accordance with established recipes and methods of preparation and places orders on counter for pickup to ensure prompt pickup by servers.
Performs side work before, during, and at end of shift.
Communicate with Lead Cook, manager-on-duty, and other cooks to maintain service efficiency.
Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
Keep cooks table stocked, informing manager-on-duty when quantities are low, in a timely manner.
Assures immediate cleanup of spills or correction of hazards.
Communicate frequently and effectively with Lead Cook to assure guest satisfaction.
Report item shortages to Lead Cook or Food & Beverage Inventory Control Clerk to ensure stock levels.
Performs other general duties as directed by the Front of the House Supervisor.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED with 1 year cooks experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Three to five years related food and beverage front of the house experience in related position; managerial experience required.
