Job Description:

This Program Manager (PM) position is an experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management. May manage projects or processes with general supervision. Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. Recommends enhancements to systems and processes. Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results. Work consists of making moderate enhancements or improvements to systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area. Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are general, and may require understanding of broader set of issues but typically are not complex. Problems may require understanding of other job areas. Problems are typically solved drawing from prior experiences, with analysis of the issues.

Role:

This role will be a Deputy Program Manager to a Senior Program Manager leading one of our COMINT Product lines. This position will assist in managing T&M contracts for product sustainment and LSI (Lead System Integrator) support, as well as assist in the overall contract management of the primary FFP contracts.

Overall Responsibilties:

  1. The PM will have direct interaction with the Customer of the T&M contracts to ensure we maintain appropriate fundings.
  2. The PM will manage the financials of the associated T&M contracts, including LTS and SAP forecasting. They will support the Demand review and advise on staffing requiremetns.
  3. The PM will be responsible for all invoicing for the T&M contracts, and will assist the Sr. PM with CDRL and Milestone deliveries of all contracts.
  4. The PM will build Program Review packages for the T&M contracts and assist the Sr. PM with all Program Review preparation as required.
  5. The PM will be responsible for leading the overall integration of the program integrated master schedule (IMS) and will be responsible to track progress on the program.
  6. The PM will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with internal customers, such as engineering, finance, business development and manufacturing to ensure execution of T&M contracts.
  7. The PM will be afforded opportunities for problem solving and innovation in developing solutions, both internal and external.
  8. The PM will also assist or lead pursuit activities, working closely with Sr. PM and Business Development. The PM will assist in the management for execution of bids and proposals and to help ensure compliance.



Qualifications:.

  1. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
  2. Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship, including no barriers to obtain at least a Secret
  3. 10% Travel may be required to support customer requirements.



Preferred Additional Skills:

  1. Position may require from time to time occassional overtime work as needed to meet business objectives.
  2. Must have experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
