Job Summary:

The ITS Engineer provides expert-level technical support, leveraging team resources effectively. They design, deploy, and maintain internal networks, servers, and systems. This role also serves as an escalation point for complex issues and offers strategic recommendations to the ITS Manager, ensuring the successful operation of the organization’s network and infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage and resolve high-complexity technical issues and projects.
2. Develop and implement strategies for system improvements and upgrades.
3. Lead and coordinate large-scale IT initiatives and cross-functional projects.
4. Serves as an escalation support for ITS Administrators.
5. Ensure that all internal systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and software updates to protect against vulnerabilities.
6. Configure, install, and maintain hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
7. Manage the lifecycle of IT hardware and software, including procurement, installation, and decommissioning.
8. Manage and lead IT integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transition and alignment of systems and infrastructure with organizational objectives.
9. Identify opportunities for increasing efficiency and reducing errors by automating repeatable tasks and processes.
10. Train ITS Technicians and ITS Administrators in company best practices and in learning advanced skills.
11. Provide technical support with a focus on end user satisfaction and high-quality service delivery.
12. Document troubleshooting and resolution of advanced technical issues.
13. Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.
14. Any additional task or responsibility as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Education/Certification Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field -OR- 5+ years of IT experience, preferred.
2. 1 or more industry certifications (CCNA, MS AZ-104) -OR- equivalent certification or experience.

Experience Requirements:

1. 1+ year of customer service experience, preferred.
