Hiring a remote Azure Cloud Engineer (jr-mid level role)

Location: Remote in US only, EST Hours

Salary: $100,000 + 10% yearly bonus

Job Summary:

Cloud Engineer is responsible for servicing our software delivery platforms using Microsoft Azure technologies.

Essential Functions:

1. Design and deploy infrastructure solutions according to project requirements
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile and assess infrastructure needs, and provide efficient Azure cloud-based services
3. Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance
4. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and release management.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to services, network, and performance
6. Participate in 24x7x365 on-call rotation and provide support during off-hours for production incidents
7. Proactively identify, schedule & perform maintenance items for the operation of our platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of experience on Azure in Software as a Service and Infrastructure as a Services environments
2. 2+ years Windows experience
3. Strong experience with scripting languages
4. Working familiarity with software lifecycle solutions (Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Services)
5. Understanding of cloud network design and best practices
6. Understanding of networking principles
7. Familiarity with common infrastructure components such as App Services, SQL Server & Redis, Remote Desktop Services
8. Thorough understanding of Azure Active Directory concepts, features, and limitations
9. Experience in a 24/7 environment
