Social Media Specialist - B2B High Tech (Remote)

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist for a fast-growing B2B High Tech company. The Social Media Specialist will assist with developing copy and content for the corporate social media channels. Additionally, this role will post content and engage with audiences on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Reddit. The overall goal of the social media programs is to attract visitors to owned properties and generate leads.

This is a 6-month contract role, 40 hours per week, remote in the US.

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee, with health benefits and 401K offered.

Responsibilities:

1. Write and post content for social channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Reddit.
2. Create Newsletters on LinkedIn, leveraging content from other teams.
3. Collaborate with creative, PR, campaign teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure all promotions via social media are well written, coordinated, and consistent with the Corporate Editorial content calendar and initiatives.
4. Analyze data and know how to use it to make informed decisions. Test new strategies, new content, and new campaigns to learn and improve content marketing efforts.
5. Use Sociabble, Sprout Social, EveryoneSocial, Sprinkler, Hootsuite and other tools to manage social media efforts.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of experience in social media marketing at B2B high tech companies.
2. Proven experience in executing employee social media advocacy programs, including strategy development, content creation, and engagement tracking.
3. Experience in curating third-party content for employees and managing content workflows within an employee advocacy program to drive engagement and brand awareness.
4. Excellent writing skills. A flair for copywriting and a passion for technology are a must.
5. Proactive thinker who develops ideas and insights from data to bring creative vision and new ideas.
6. Understanding of social media tools and defining metrics for success.
7. Displays knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $50.00/hr. - $53.50/hr.
